Who we are.

Genesis Butler is a 11 year old animal rights activist and ethical vegan who went vegan on her own at the age of 6 after discovering the milk she was drinking came from mother cows. Genesis has earned numerous awards for her activism including Animal Hero Kids' Sir Paul McCartney Young Veg Advocate award, Vegan Kid of the Year award from Vegans Are Cool, PETA's Youth Activist of the Year, and the Lisa Shapiro Youth Activist award. She is featured in Vegan: Everyday Stories, a documentary about the lives of everyday vegans, Cesar Chavez: Respect for All about the life and activism of her great uncle Cesar Chavez, and The Invisible Vegan about the lives of vegan people of color. Genesis speaks regularly at vegan events across the United States and in Canada. Although she is active in the animal rights movement, she is still able to be a kid and loves playing football, singing, dancing, sewing, drawing, and spending time with her friends.
