Our Mission
Genesis for Animals’ mission is to help support animal sanctuaries and rescues throughout the United States. We do this by providing financial support with any expenses the sanctuary may have for medical treatments, emergency funds, aid through natural disasters, and any other costs they incur, like purchasing supplies for the animals.
I started the nonprofit after visiting sanctuaries and seeing how, often, the founders were constantly struggling to financially support them. Because sanctuaries and rescues are so important for introducing more people to farm animals and their individual personalities, I made it my goal to help get them the funding they need to stick around. Further, we know that as more and more people go plant-based, more and more animals will become freed from factory farms as our society shifts away from that practice. Genesis for Animals aims to make sure as many sanctuaries and rescues are as well-funded as possible so that all of those animals have somewhere to go to start their new lives.
We are thrilled that we are able to help sanctuaries and amplify the work they do, even just helping them not worry about just one bill is incredible. We select the sanctuaries based on need, and we welcome sanctuaries to write to us.

New Life Animal Sanctuary
New Life Animal Sanctuary is also known as Life After Labs because the sanctuary is home to animals who are rescued from laboratories. Residents of New Life includes horses, donkeys, lamas, chicken, turkeys, pigs, cats, rats, mice, dogs, cows, sheep, goats, and a variety of birds. New Life Animal Sanctuary is close to Genesis' heart because it is the inspiration for her organization, Genesis for Animals. After visiting New Life Animal Sanctuary for the first time, she realized sanctuary owners have many costs associated with running a sanctuary so she wanted to help out by providing sanctuaries with funding to go to supplies, medical care for the animals, shelter, and food.
